We did our last hard intervals sesh before next week’s Singapore Marathon this morning, four laps of Chip Bee’s approx 1km loop (just over 900m actually). It was nice and cool out, after a storm had come to visit the area in the middle of the night. There were lots of puddles though, and somehow on Jalan Merah Saga there was an oil slick of sorts on one side of the street which caused our LunaRacers to slip quite a bit while going uphill. Was alright in the end though, didn’t feel too good at the start but finished off strong. Damo has really improved over the past seven weeks so I’m really happy for him!
We did:
2km warm-up
4x Chip Bee Loop on 2.30 rest
1km cool-down
Total: about 7km
Our times: Lap 1 - 3.38 (Damo), 3.33 (Me); Lap 2 - 3.28 (D), 3.23 (Me);
Lap 3 - 3.25 (D), 3.21 (Me); Lap 4 - 3.21 (D), 3.15 (Me)
Right, off to send him to work now, then a full day at the Lexus Cup. Ciao!
