Treading new territory

The other day after dropping Damo off at Mt Alvernia for his eye check-up, I decided to take Coronation Road back to avoid the morning rush hour traffic, especially the jam at Farrer Road. I’d always wanted to run there but never got down to it, so driving through it just simply confirmed what an ideal route, or part of a route, it would be. It’s quiet, relatively flat, devoid of irritating pedastrians, with nice houses to look at and the more-often-than-not nice cars that drive by. So, with cool, overcast weather this morning on my day off, I decided to try a new run route. It was only my third run since the Singapore Marathon, after last Sunday’s easy 5k and Monday’s lunchtime 55min run (which I have yet to map). Twas a good run!

Oh baby, you were right, you do have more than six songs in your iPod, I used it on the run. Hehe. (Though you did update your iPod before the Singapore Marathon, didn’t ya!!)

Gonna go for the CycleWorx ride tonight too. But, first, finish up on a story then do some baking and household chores. Great day ahead!
