Damo came back yesterday morning from NYC with more gifts than Santa Claus.

Let me see if I can remember everything he got me or us: a baking stone, a madeleine pan, a pizza slicer, seven boxes of muesli bars, tons of Clif Bars and PowerGels, a cookbook on grilling, nine Blueray DVDs, a few packs of Twizzlers and Reese’s peanut butter cups, two boxes of tea, face wash and body scrub from Sabon, an Abercrombie tee… I think that’s about it.
Of course more than the gifts I was happy he was finally home, at least for a few days before leaving for the Tour of Friendship in Thailand this Friday.
We spent a couple of hours in town where he went to buy an iPhone. God finally answered my prayers for rain on our way there.

Then we lazed around and had a simple DIY tortilla wrap dinner. The chook was ready made from Cold Storage. The only thing that needed cooking was the grilled capsicum and red onion, which was done in just five minutes with our trusty Breville. Every home needs a Breville.

I was so tired from the week I crashed at 8-something, I think. Even that wasn’t enough sleep for me. I got up for my 5.30am run this morn still feeling sleepy… and after a 1h 30min workout I was back in bed for another two hours of sleep.
Can’t wait for the Sundown Ultra to be over.

Had the same experience of feeling tired even after a extra long sleep after exercising. Maybe even headache from that extra sleep. Not sure if its dehydration or oversleeping, maybe you could do some research and an article for the papers on this? ^_^
Sounds good.. I’ll look into it! Thanks for the idea!
