We’re finally here! It was a really really enjoyable flight on silkair, no hassle or problems. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was great too.
The hotel may be 3 star but it’s certainly not shabby. It’s just outside a strip of shops and restaurants and has free wifi!
As soon as we put our things down in the room last night we headed out to find a place that showed the tour on the telly. Eurosport is not a channel offered on the hotel tv, only espn and star sports. We finally found an irish sports bar, which was just across the road. Cheap drinks and food, great service and free eurosport.
So our first hours here got off to a great start. I’m already loving this place! We’ll be cycling up gunung raya later. I’m sure that will be swell!
