While riding to work this morning along Upper Thomson Road, a car (license plate number SFN 3804 H) decided, after painful moments of hesitation and waiting for the last possible minute, to turn out of a side lane onto the main road, nearly in time for me to smash into its rear windscreen.
The driver, who had a woman in the passenger seat, could have waited for just a couple more seconds (I was going at about 38km/h) to have clear road to turn out. But no, he had to go. I’m pretty damn sure he could hear my screaming through his windows.
Such bastards will henceforth be recorded here. This post will be updated as and when I encounter these idiots. I suspect I will be updating this every day.

yeah, I encountered situations where a lot of drivers actually will just join the main road in front of me, sometimes a few split seconds
what amazes me is they cannot see PROPERLY that in most cases there are absolutely NO VEHICLES behind me
so I have to brake hard in most situations, but what to do, no time to take pics also
and I also want to add there are some impatient drivers who will overtake me when I’m doing 35-38km/h and then suddenly a few metres in front stop by the road side, so have to quickly decide to brake or out of the saddle overtake the vehicle, while at the same time looking for traffic from behind
I’m very sure these drivers won’t want people to treat them the same if they were the cyclists…./ end rant lol

Same !!! 1 week back some driver reverse into me while trying to illegal park … luckly i smack his rear windscreen in time if not i don’t know what will happen to me. . I guess the worst part is that the driver feels that they are not @ fault !!

are you ok then? hopefully all’s fine. i hardly bike much these days (just running & swimming) but i’d my fair share encounters with shitty drivers..
just read an article in mypaper there’s this guy who actually wrote in asking to ban cyclists from both the roads and pavements cos they pose a danger to pedestrian & road users. most thing i can’t tahan is he actually said cyclists should be banned cos THEY DO NOT PAY ROAD TAX!!! i ride a motorbike and i beleive you drive why can’t we all share. some sporeans are really so selfish everything’s about dollars & cents! this’s is also really interesting he also said spore is a developed country with efficient transport system therefore cycling should be a thing of the past!!! i can’t beleive he actually said that cos he just sound DARN STOOOPID!
anyway think there should be some campaign to educate everybody (pedestrian, road users & cyclist). everyone has a right so if everybody is responsible then those rights would automatically be met.
watch the use of your language, even if u are really mad, a christian model is important and it can be put in different vocab, not ‘bastard’

A driver cut in front of me from the opposite direction. I braked but too late, my front wheel grazed the sides of the car and I slipped to the ground. Luckily, no major damage to myself or the bike. And the idiot drove off after that!
