Water way to run

Took my new hydration system out for a run today. Two hours and over 22km later, I was happy and hydrated.

So today I bid goodbye to my trusty waistpack that I’d used in my two Sundown victories and countless training runs. It treated me well, but after running with a hydration backpack I realised I’ve been choking myself these past two years. Seriously. That waistpack really restricted my breathing. With the backpack, I can carry up to four times more water (2 litres) and it feels less heavy too.

    Hey Nur,

I use either bike, depending on how I feel that day. Of course it’s possible to commute 20k on a fixie. It’s possible to go however far you want on a fixie. I’ve climbed Mt Faber on my fixie. You can make it however easy/tough you want, just select the right gear ratio. I think I use 48-18, if I remember correctly. Or maybe it’s 48-16… anyhow, choose a gear ratio that isn’t too heavy that you can’t make it up hills but not so light that you’re spinning like crazy on flats. And Singapore is pretty flat anyway.
